Laura Kenrick - Owner
I started with Urban Jonny’s in 2017 after 15 years of working behind the chair. After leaving to stay home with my two boys, Eli & Ike for a couple years I returned to UJ’s to manage the day to day operation after our renovation was complete in 2021. In 2025 I purchased Urban Jonny’s and am now co -owner with Jon Frantz. I am so thankful that I get to work with my best friends everyday and I am loving my new role here! When not at UJ’s I am usually building LEGOs with my boys, boating or tinkering in my garage with a fun new tool.
Megan Bradford
Hi, I’m Megan! I am currently a Mentor Stylist and Aveda Master Colorist at Urban Jonny’s Salon. I am a Douglas J Aveda Institute graduate and have worked exclusively in Aveda salons. With 16 years of experience behind the chair, I have developed a love for creating lived-in, natural color for my guests. I also love creating dream hair and boosting inner confidence for my guests using extensions! My personal goal is to make every person that sits in my chair feel valued, respected, confident and beautiful!
Hi! I’m McKayla, & I have been a stylist since 2015. I trained at the Douglas J Aveda Institute in Grand Rapids & have been working exclusively with Aveda color & many products ever since. I am Master Stylist behind the chair and excel in specialty hair color, clipper cuts, hair extensions, & waxing services.
I am married to my best friend, & together we have four Labrador Retrievers. We enjoy living life on a private lake, & off-roading with our Polaris RZR. You’ll never see me without a coffee in one hand & candy in the other. I look forward to having you in my chair!
McKayla Bultema
I have 16 years experience behind the chair as a licensed cosmetologist .
I specialize in Lived in Blonde, Lived in Color, & Custom color. This is achieved with techniques such as balayage, highlights, babylights & teasy-lights to customize each speciality color. These processes will be designed for my guests individual desired result.
With continuous education in color, techniques and shaping so I can offer the highest quality experience for you .
I take pride in my ability to achieve hair goals with my guests . Always sharing my knowledge to keep your hair healthy and strong so you can feel wonderful when leaving my chair .

Hey, I'm Kendra! I trained at Douglas J Aveda Institute of East Lansing, and have been a professionally licensed cosmetologist since 2010. With 15 years of experience, countless hours of education, training and certifications, and a large variety of skills- the most valuable skill I have in being a good artist is to be able to connect with people. Doing hair is such a fun way to share my art with you! I love my job, and I'd like to think I'm pretty good at it, too. :) I love styling, grey blending, and lived-in blonding. I am also an extension stylist trained in 5 different methods amongst 3 different companies. My end goal is to help you feel like the best version of yourself- confident, beautiful, and proud of what you see when you look in the mirror!
Tiffany Spring
Hi, I’m Tiffany! My passion for hairdressing started in childhood, and in 2004 I secured an apprenticeship. In 2010 I became a master colorist, and in 2012 I attended Vidal Sassoon training. I specialize in finishing work, men’s and women’s cutting, color that stands the test of time, and I recently became Bellami Extension certified.
Priscila Salazar
Hello! I’m Priscila! A South Florida hairstylist. After graduating Cosmetology School in 2018, I did an apprenticeship program with a master hair stylist and amazing mentor. She equipped me with amazing skills and techniques. Working side by side, I was able to learn so many new things that would help me start an amazing career. After finishing the program, my permanent position began at Beauty and the Beach Salon, where my skills were put to the test. For me, my hairstylist career is an never ending learning process. I love learning new techniques and trending looks. Married to my best friend, and we have 3 furry babies. I love crafts, cooking and corn fields!
Renee Stallings
Hi! I’m Renee! I studied at the Douglas J. Aveda Institute of Grand Rapids, graduating in 2014 and have been a full-time leader and a part-time stylist ever since. My experience out of the home and traveling on days off for wedding hair and make-up for the last 9 years has ultimately led me here, pursuing my dream of a full-time career in a salon for the first time ever, and I couldn’t be more excited! I’m passionate about making people feel valued, seen and heard, and this profession allows for me to gift that over and over, every single day. I look forward to using my creative artistry to build your self-confidence while making you feel beautiful, and I truly cannot wait to have you in my chair.

Hi, I'm Jess! So happy you're here! I have been a stylist for 3 years and trained at Douglas J Aveda Institute. Becoming a hair stylist has always been a dream of mine and after nearly a decade in corporate, I took a leap of faith and went back to school. Right away, I knew this was my calling! I am passionate about blonding, dimensional color and formal styling. One of my favorite parts about my job is connecting with the community. I have met so many amazing clients who inspire and motivate me. I always strive to help you feel like the best version of yourself, inside and out, when you leave my chair!
